Four things separate a profile that gets opened from one that gets scrolled past: a face, a lane, logistics, and one specific sentence. Here is how to do each.
Your profile has about two seconds to do its job. Somebody is thumbing through a grid of faces, and yours either stops him or it does not. The good news is that on yoBlow the bar is low, because most of the work is already done for you by the lane on your card. Here is the rest.
This is not a moral point, it is a mechanical one. A torso shot tells him nothing he cannot get from a hundred other cards. A face tells him you are real, you are not hiding, and you will probably show up. If you cannot show your face publicly, that is fine and common: use a photo that shows your build and your energy, and send a face in chat. yoBlow requires one photo before you can message anybody, which is why the grid is not full of blanks.
Giver, Receiver or Both. It is the single most important field on the app because the grid sorts by it. If you are genuinely happy either way, pick Both: it puts you high in everyone’s match sort and gives you the biggest grid. If you are not, do not pick Both to widen your options. You will spend the night saying no.
Nearly every hookup that dies, dies here. He can host, you cannot travel, neither of you says so for twenty messages, and the moment passes. Set hosting on your profile: host, travel, or both. Set your looking-for tags: right now, tonight, regular, friends. Now the card answers the two questions that were going to be the first two messages.
Not a list of demands. Not "ask me anything," which is the profile equivalent of shrugging. One sentence that only you would write.
The strong ones work because they tell him what the next hour would actually be like. The weak ones tell him nothing, or tell him you are difficult.
Blow him one first. It costs one tap, it lands in his inbox, and it puts you in front of somebody who was never going to scroll far enough to find you. On an app where everybody already knows why they are here, the only real mistake is waiting.
